OUR STORY

The idea for AFW was born on a night in Switzerland, but the makings of the idea took root over many continents. A collection of friends from varied backgrounds and cultures met to bond over the passing of a beloved friend, Ankur. When they started sharing stories of how Ankur inspired them through his short but eventful life, they realized that the energy and passion through which he brought them together stands for something much more. And they promised each other to carry his message through a mission befitting his life. And AFW was born.

OUR MISSION

AFW drives the vision by bringing together the resources and creating the environment needed to drive educational initiatives across borders. These resources are deployed with a focus on deriving the maximum impact in terms of improving the lives of as many children as possible. The multi sided mission works as an enabler and conduit for change makers, contributors, educationists, and on the field workers to create a high impact ecosystem.
